Welcome to the weekend!  Today I thought I would share with you some photos of the sunflowers that are giving us a beautiful show in the garden at the moment.  This is the second batch of Sunflowers I have grown this summer, unfortunately the first lot were eaten by the snails the first night they were in the ground.  Lots of egg shells and frequent applications of pet friendly snail pellets to the garden meant that these ones survived to give us all of their Sunflower gorgeousness.  We also had a rather large Dragonfly visitor to the garden yesterday.  They are my favourite insect and I was lucky enough to snap a couple of photos before it flew off.
