Oaty bickies
I found this quick and delicious recipe on Attic24 and have made a few batches of these now. They are so quick to whip up and bake, great if you need a quick treat. I have played around with the original recipe a bit and reduced the amount of sugar but the original is linked if you want to give that a go as well. You will need the following:
- 75g oats
- 25g sultanas or dates
- 100g butter
- 100g flour
- 25g sugar
- 1 tsp spice of choice (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom)
Combine everything into a food processor and whiz together until mixed. Pour out onto floured surface, roll out and cut out shapes until you have used up all the dough. Place onto baking tray and bake in 180°C oven for 9 – 12 mins or until cooked. Store in airtight container for up to 3 days but I guarantee they won’t last that long.
