Yesterday we harvested our first attempt at growing potatoes.  We didn’t get as many as we were hoping for but we were pleased with the result.  We grew them in a coffee sack and they only grew in the bottom third, even though we added dirt and rolled the sack up as the tops got higher.   Next time we will grow them straight in the ground and see if we get better results from that.  We have enough for 2 meals so are going to have some for dinner tonight. 

I also harvested some more Zucchini and the first of the Cherry Tomatoes, I can see another chocolate Zucchini cake in my future!
