Handmade shower puff

Since I took part in Plastic Free July we have been looking at other ways we can reduce plastic and waste in our house.  Hubby asked if I could crochet a shower puff so I went onto the internet and found this pattern by Hooked on Patterns and hooked one up this weekend.  It took a whole ball of  Lily Sugar n Cream cotton, and a bit that I had left over from another project, to make but was quick to hook up and fun to make and now we can stop buying the plastic shower puffs that, despite my best efforts to try and reuse them, inevitably end up in the landfill

I have ordered some of the cotton polyester mix Drops cotton recommended in the pattern to make a couple of smaller ones that we can use when we are travelling and will also be making a couple for Christmas presents as well.
