It was such a nice day yesterday, we took hubby’s bike over to the Wairarapa for the day.  We were headed for Claireville as the Balloon festival is on at the moment but there was nothing happening when we arrived so we decided to head over to Castlepoint.  This was my first visit and I am keen to head back.  We took a picnic lunch and ate it at the beach and there was all sorts of activity happening including kids swimming, drones flying, beach buggy’s hooning and boats fishing.  It is best known for it’s lighthouse which is now controlled by a computer from Wellington.
