I did a bit of birthday/christmas sewing recently in the form of some knitting project bags.  I saw a bag I really liked online and self drafted a pattern to make one for my sister for her birthday in some super cute Care Bear fabric I found on sale at Spotlight

I was pleased with the result and decided to make some for Christmas presents and also one for myself.  I sent a photo to a friend and she wanted one as well so I dove into my stash and got to work.

I made a couple of adjustments to the pattern, shortened the handles and made them wider and made the strip for the ribbon at the top narrower as well.  This was a good stash buster project as I didn’t have to buy anything extra to make these 5 bags
