December socks, pair number 12, are done and that brings to a close my sock knitting challenge for the year.  I am a bit pleased with myself that I managed to knit 12 pairs of socks this year!

This pair is the first time I have tried a contrast heel and toe and it was easier than I thought it would be and I love how they look.  The cuffs and toes are knitted with Scheepjes Metropolis in colour Santiago and the heel is Scheepjes Metropolis Bogota.  The main part of the sock is Schachenmayr Regia stretch uni and colour in colourway 01498
