My April socks are done, these ones are for my Dad and he has wide feet so I cast on 68 stitches instead of the usual 60 for these ones.  I used some yarn I had in my stash for ages and originally brought to knit myself a shawl but I think that it looks much better as socks.  Dad lives in Australia so I am calling these the Outback socks as the colours remind me of the desert.  The yarn is Naturally Gallipoli 4 ply in shade 104923.  I have another ball of this in the stash so I think a pair of these for me will be on the needles soon.
